Privacy Policy

Industrial App (“Industrial App,” “we,” “us”) is a professional tool for people who design, procure, build, and operate industrial facilities. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we handle it, and your choices. Industrial App is an account-required, adults-only (18+) business application; it is not directed to children.

1. Who we are

Industrial App is operated by DeepTechWorks LLC. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@industrial.app.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what the app needs to work for you:

• Account information — your email address and an account identifier (and, if you choose one, a display handle). Used to create and secure your account. We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email; we do not collect or store passwords.
• Content you create — the conversations you have with the AI agent; the projects, field observations, notes, and procurement entries you record; and the photos, voice notes, and documents you choose to attach. This is your own content, visible only to you and the agent.
• Location — if, and only if, you geotag a field observation, we collect your device location (approximate and/or precise) for that entry. Location is optional — the app works without it, and you can decline the permission.
• Usage information — basic in-app activity (which features you use) to keep the app working and to improve it. This is first-party analytics on our own systems.

What we do NOT collect: we do not collect your contacts, calendar, browsing history, advertising identifiers, precise device/hardware identifiers, financial or payment information, health information, video, or (in this version) your phone number. We do not use any third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the service — run the agent, generate answers, store and organize your projects, and (where you use voice notes) transcribe your audio to text.
• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To understand and improve how the app is used (first-party analytics).

We do not use your information for advertising or marketing profiling, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. AI processing

When you chat with the agent or attach an image or document, your input is sent to trusted AI service providers that process it on our behalf to generate a reply. Under our agreements with them, they may use your content only to provide that processing to us — not for their own purposes, and not to train their models.

5. How we share information

We share your information only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract — for hosting and storage, AI processing, authentication, and voice-note transcription. They may use your information only to provide those services to us, and may not use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. There is no user-to-user sharing in the app — your content is visible only to you and the agent. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or in connection with a business transfer, with notice where required.

6. International data transfers

We and our service providers process and store information in the United States. If you use the app from outside the U.S. (including India), your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. with appropriate safeguards.

7. Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest, strict separation of each account’s data, and malware scanning of uploaded files. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit who and what can access it.

8. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and content (subject to limited, legally-required retention). See your rights below.

9. Your rights and choices

You can:

• Access and correct your information from within the app or by emailing support@industrial.app.
• Delete specific content — delete individual messages in the app, or email us to request deletion of specific projects or data.
• Delete your account and data — in the app under Settings → “Delete account & data,” or at https://industrial.app/account/deletion. This removes your account and associated personal data.
• Withdraw consent for optional data (e.g., turn off location) at any time via your device settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection). To exercise any of them, contact support@industrial.app; we will respond as required by applicable law.

10. For users in India

We process your personal data in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data, to grievance redressal, and to nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. Grievance / data-protection contact: our Privacy Officer, reachable at support@industrial.app. We will acknowledge and address grievances within the timelines required by applicable law.

11. Children

Industrial App is intended for professional use by adults (18 and over) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a revised “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email.
