The Industrial Agent is the AI agent at the center of Industrial App — the primary interface you work with. Unlike a chatbot bolted onto a search box, it does real work: checking equipment lead times, generating RFQs, comparing quotes, running engineering calculations, and capturing field data. It grounds its answers in real engineering and cited sources, and is honest about what it doesn't know.

Industrial teams that build and operate physical facilities and systems — engineers, project and procurement teams, operators, and anyone responsible for schedule, capital, and safety on capital projects. It is built to be useful to any industrial team, with the deepest capability today in a few focused industries.
How is it different from ChatGPT or a general AI assistant?

The Industrial Agent is grounded — it anchors answers in equipment data, codes, regulations, and observed market data — and it is agentic, doing the work rather than just describing it. In safety-critical domains, its claims are verified against primary sources.
